Sara Brum presents, in the Dacosta Gallery of the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo, from 21 March to 19 April, her exhibition entitled Aqui Só Pode Viver o Diabo (Only the Devil Can Live Here). This is a multidisciplinary body of work combining photography and installation. Sara Brum is an artist, cultural manager and educator of Portuguese-Spanish background and Azorean descent. From a somatic, symbolic and poetic perspective, she develops a transdisciplinary practice spanning the visual arts, experimental cinema, performance, writing and education. She has presented her work in the United States, Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal, Spain and Brazil, receiving recognition, awards and honourable mentions.
