What if the body were not merely something we “have”, but also a place we inhabit? What if the earth and the body shared a history exploitation, but also of resistance? These sessions offer a space for reading based on texts included in the bibliography of Sara Brum’s exhibition Aqui Só Pode Viver o Diabo (Only the Devil Can Live Here), inviting reflection on power, imagination and territory: a meeting place where we read excerpts, share impressions, listen and question. No prior knowledge of art or theory is required: the reading is fragmented, accessible and guided. The aim is not to “know more”, but to think together.
