currently lives in Munich.<br\/>Motivated by the mystical fog and the fantastic landscapes of the Azores, he has developed a painting style between pop surrealism and the classic techniques of the great masters, such as oils on canvas.<br\/>Passionate about the Baroque and the dramatic contrasts of<em> chiaroscuro.<\/em> His paintings are often related to religion and fantasy, as is the case, among others, with the Salome and Cinderella pieces that are part of this exhibition.<br\/>As he is compared to the painter Margaret Keane, Tiago Azevedo believes that this comes from the stylistic enlargement of the eyes, which he claims is just a way of making it easier to transfer emotion onto the canvas.<br\/>Since he chose to follow his dream of painting, he has taken part in numerous exhibitions in cities such as: Lisbon, at the Pal\u00e1cio Foz; in Cannes; at the Louvre in Paris; at an event organised by the Vatican in Rome; and also in New York, which has brought him closer to
