Introductory workshop on mask making \nEducational service, 26 November and 10 December, 2pm\u20135pm \nMasks are highly valuable performance tools that are accessible to everyone. In addition to the masks used in religious celebrations, which function as objects of intermediation between the human and the divine, we also have the masks used in theatre: from the clown’s nose to the mask, once used in Greek theatre, through the larvarias, neutras, commedia dell’arte, Topeng or N\u00f4, without excluding the mere more or less elaborate face paintings. \nIn this workshop, we propose the creation of a small mask, just a nose, using a process of plaster mould construction, based on a positive model in plasticine, observing the importance of the lines that define the relationship between the mask and the space of representation and corporeality.
