Puppet Workshop at the Museum of Angra Once upon a time, there was a ship captain with many stories to tell, who had been sailing the seas for over a year. Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess who sat in her garden waiting for her husband, who carried the cross of Christ on the tip of his spear. \nBela Infanta and Nau Catrineta are two of the most beautiful Portuguese rhymes collected in the 19th century, following the romantic enthusiasm for popular literature, which was believed to reflect the national spirit. They are two stories, two characters, but a complementary reality, very present in the history of Portugal. These were the two rhymes chosen to inspire the characters to be created during a puppet workshop promoted by the Educational Service of the Angra Museum, on 19, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 July. \nThis workshop, which is free of charge, is aimed at children aged 6 to 15 and will take place at the Angra Museum’s Educational Service on the dates indicated, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. \nIn the first three sessions, the rhymes will be narrated and the puppets made.
