As part of the promotion of M\u00e1rio Duarte’s exhibition, Distraindo as M\u00e3os sobre Azulejos com Outra Liberdade (Distracting Hands on Tiles with Another Freedom), which will be on display at Dacosta Gallery from 13 September, the MAH, through its Educational Service, will hold a series of three children’s ceramics workshops, led by the artist, which will take place between September and October. The first workshop, scheduled for 27 September, will focus on traditional tile-making, while the next two will be experimental in nature \u2013 but with practical results \u2013 also emphasising the history of tile-making, especially in Portugal, and explaining the terminology used in this field.<\/p>\n\n
