Terceira Island during a Plague

This exhibition depicts how Terceira Island, from the 16th century to the present day, reacted and responded to some of the epidemics that arrived here. During which normality was suspended, mirroring the human duel between fear and will, disease and medicine, superstition and enlightenment, death and life.
