This month’s feature highlights a miniature sewing machine (1920-1930), accompanied by its wooden thread carriage, both decorated with an illustration of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. his functional model was manufactured in Germany by the company Casige, which operated between 1902 and 1975. It originated from a challenge given to the company to produce affordable sewing machines intended for schools. Today, these pieces are highly collectible, representing an era, a way of life, and a factory that is now extinct. This specimen is part of the toy and game management unit of the MAH.
