Carly Swenson, an American artist living in BA4, was inspired by the seven social sins defined by Gandhi to create 21 intriguing and subtly provocative canvases which, through a recombination of classic icons, conceptual images and commonly used objects, promote an awareness of persistent factors of injustice in the contemporary world.
