Rede de Museus e Coleções Visitáveis dos Açores
The Museum of Angra do Heroísmo Museum is part of the group exhibition organised by the Azores Museums and Visitable Collections Network on the theme of ‘Water’ with a virtual exhibition entitled ‘Running Water’, which documents the different types of heritage expressions to which this resource has been subjected on Terceira Island over time, in its capacity as a substance and symbol, which has always been established as an aggregating element of social life, around which patterns, habits and beliefs have been established.

This virtual exhibition, created to mark World Museum Day on 18 May, offers an interactive alternative between the different partners that make up the RMCVA and their audiences, which is made especially pertinent by the pandemic. It is divided into three sections that bring the exhibition contributions of the Museums and Visitable Collections of the Eastern, Central and Western Groups of the Archipelago together, combined in a common digital catalogue.
