The Relink project arose from the initiative of two Azorean artists, Nina Medeiros and Sofia de Medeiros, who devised a proposal to partner with various spaces to present temporary artistic instalations.
This project also highlights the career of artists, predominantly women, who have built their careers through a vision or perspective of renewal and modernity in the area, which was previously reticent towards more contemporary artistic manifestations and expressions.
It is in this context that the desire to map, investigate and reconstruct acts arose, to restructure thoughts and emotions in a different register, in a contemporary vision, but still attached to a cultural context that perpetuates itself through time. A vision of the moments and works that have shaped perspectives and marked epochs.
