Re_Act Contemporary 2023 – Spirits and Rocks

Re_Act Contemporary is an art laboratory co-founded by Paulo Arraiano and Paulo Ávila Sousa, and it is based in the Azores. Since 2017, it has been promoting artistic residencies on Terceira Island with artists from different nationalities and areas of expression. Their work, which has been featured in joint exhibitions, has been present in the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo since its first edition.
The 2023 edition of RE_ACT CONTEMPORARY, which is being held for the second time at Carmina – Dimas Simas Lopes Contemporary Art Gallery, was curated by Camila Maisune and includes works by Adriene Elise Tarver (USA), Diogo Evangelista (PT) and Pedro Vaz (PT)
