Ecomuseu do Corvo, Caminho dos Moinhos Building, 17th July to 30th September
This set of images portrays moments of rare beauty in Azorean marine life. They take us on an unforgettable journey through the immensity of the Azorean seas. There are more than twenty-four different species of cetaceans, five species of sea turtles and more than six hundred species of fish, and you can dive with the world’s largest fish, the whale shark, the largest animal on the planet, the blue whale, and the largest carnivore on the planet, the sperm whale.
This exhibition presents species that are well known to all Azoreans and nature lovers who visit our islands every year, but also unique events that the author has had the privilege of witnessing, as a result of countless hours at sea.
Come and see the exhibition Oasis by Nuno Sá until 30 September at Caminho dos Moinhos in Vila do Corvo.
Because this is our heritage and our sea, which we all have an obligation to preserve and in which we all have the pleasure of living.
