From Sea and from Land... a history of the Atlantic
In this new edition of Museu Adentro we feature the donation of João Pedro and João Bernardo, father and son. They have dedicated some of their time over several years to assembling various aeroplane models, thus creating a collection themed around Military Aeronautics. This theme is illustrated by the two models in this exhibit: the F-14D Super Tomcat (assembled in its flight option, in 1/72 scale) which was an aeroplane whose maiden flight took place in 1970 and which is still part of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s inventory, as it was acquired before the Iranian Revolution; the Swedish SAAB J35 Draken (1/48 scale), which was an almost fictional aircraft with a double-delta wing and a very advanced design, given that it was launched in 1955 and remained in service until 1993.
It will feature a presentation and communication by its donors.
