LUGARES DA PAISAGEM RISCOS, MANCHAS E MEMÓRIA (PLACES OF THE LANDSCAPE SCRATCHES, STAINS, AND MEMORY)

This exhibition is the result of the artistic residency project of Luís Herberto and Luís Geraldes, held at Carmina – Dimas Simas Lopes Contemporary Art Gallery, between July 1 and 24, 2025. The residency transformed this exhibition space into a laboratory for experimental research in drawing and painting, using the relationship between landscape and memory as a reference. The aim is to foster a dialogue between experimental investigation and the reflections that emerge from it—namely, lines, stains, and chance occurrences—which play a fundamental role in shaping the artistic process.
