Lighting Fixtures

The Night of 21 December, the date of the winter solstice, is the longest night of the year. To mark this occasion, we present a display of objects that, over time, have extended human hours of daylight, thereby increasing not only working hours but also leisure time. The items belong to the Ethnography Collection and the Decorative and Ornamental Arts Collection of the MAH.
