Distracting Hands on Tiles with Another Freedom

MAH presents, for the first time, the works of Mário Duarte, in an exhibition dedicated to his ceramic works. The artist and poet from Jorgense always had a carefree and free relationship with art, using loose papers and notebooks to draw or scribble, without worries, purposes or destinations. It was ‘distracting his hands’ that led him to drawing and painting, later leading him to many other experiments, analyses and his own concepts in his approach to working with tiles.
