Faster, superior, more robust… the maxim once applied to Olympic athletes now illustrates the dizzying evolution of computer hardware and its equally dizzying overtaking by new models.
This exhibition will give an account of this escalation, displaying computer models belonging to the MAH’s Science and Technology Collection, which at the time of their commercialisation were considered the best available, as well as various top-of-the-range electronic components that are now obsolete.
