Azorean jewellery at the Gold Museum

The aim of this jewellery collection, which was specially designed by jewellery designers Manuela Ferraz and Carlos Fontes, who created the Flyingfish Jewels brand, is to enhance the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo’s collection by transposing some of the decorative motifs found on its most emblematic pieces onto precious metals, in order to give their timelessness new forms and meanings.
In addition to the four pieces created especially for the Gold Museum, this exhibition brings together collections created exclusively for the Autonomous Region of the Azores and which are, in part, the result of several trips made by their creators to all the Azorean islands since 2002.
