Highlights Room, 24 April to 30 September This exhibition aims to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of a prominent figure of the Terceira nobility, who distinguished himself through his unconditional support for the most staunchly liberal ideas –Teotónio de Ornelas Bruges – and who, as a result of the ideals he defended, became the first mayor elected by the people of Angra.
