We visited the exhibition Retalhos | uma Abordagem ao Patchwork Açoriano to understand how, with patience, skill, and taste, what was once considered waste was transformed into useful and decorative pieces that became part of the regional family and cultural heritage.
Afterwards, using unbleached fabric, scraps, and lavender, we made some pleasantly scented little bags.
