Sustainable Home Garden & Pollinator Garden

Educational Service at MAH, 16 July, 14:00. In this workshop, led by Catarina Meneses, participants will learn about the importance of a sustainable home garden and the creation of a pollinator-friendly garden. Topics will include the definition of a home garden, the benefits of having one, factors influencing its development, common plants, and the management of organic waste, comparing composting and vermicomposting. Participants will also have the opportunity to apply their knowledge practically by creating a bed with aromatic plants and building a shelter for insects. Target audience: 10 adults.
