AUDITORIUM OF THE SÃO FRANCISCO BUILDING
The next Shortcutz Angra session will feature the short film by Azorean filmmaker Bernardo Cabral, 50 Pesos Argentinos (2012). Based on the short story by Ruy Guilherme Morais, this cinematic piece transports us to São Miguel Island at the beginning of the twentieth century, a period marked by emigration and extreme poverty. Filmmaker Luís Porto also participates in the March programme with the screening of the short film Boca do Inferno (2020), inspired by the true story of the brief encounter between Fernando Pessoa, Aleister Crowley, and Hanni Larissa Jaeger. The sessions take place at the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo once a month from October to May, showcasing national and international short films, with opportunities to meet professionals and creators in the cinema and audiovisual fields.
