Philosophy Workshop for Children Educational Service, 4 and 18 February, 11:00 a.m./11:45 a.m. Workshop promoting cognitive, affective and behavioural skills, particularly with regard to the development of critical, creative and evaluative thinking. The starting point for the workshop will be the philosophical novel Hospital das Bonecas by Ann Sharpe Laurance Splitter (collaborators of Matthew Lipman). Target audience: children aged 7 to 10 Trainer: Ana Lucia Ribeiro Participation in the workshop requires a monthly payment of €5 per child to the trainer for the two sessions

Philosophising, Investigating and Dialoguing at the Angra do Heroísmo Museum Workshop promoting cognitive, affective and behavioural skills Educational Service, 1 and 22 April, 11:00 a.m. The Philosophy for Children sessions give children the power to decide the questions and topics to be discussed, based on the stimulus presented by the facilitator. In the next sessions, children are invited to THINK about ‘Tricks and Lies’ and ‘What is Freedom?’.
