On 25 March at 14:00, the Educational Service of the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo will host a workshop focused on the creation of sustainable home gardens. This activity aims to introduce the basic principles and main care practices involved in planning, creating, maintaining and harvesting a domestic vegetable garden in an effective and environmentally responsible way.
Designed primarily for adults, the workshop will provide practical knowledge for developing a sustainable garden at home and will conclude with the planting of aromatic herbs in the outdoor area of the Educational Service. At the same time, younger participants will take part by creating decorative elements for the garden, such as wooden plant markers and decorated stones. The activity is aimed at ten adults accompanied by children aged six and over and will be led by Catarina Meneses.
