In this talk, Linda Lane Thornton, an English yachtswoman and textile artist, will comment on the pieces that make up the exhibition Máquinas do Tempo | Textile Portraits and which are part of the journal quilt she made on board her yacht Coromandel during her circumnavigation voyage that took her to the Azores, whose landscapes she portrayed on pages of fabric, using different patchwork and embroidery techniques.
