Lava Comentada: visit to lava flows on Terceira island

This guided tour of some of Terceira Island’s lava flows is a promotional event for the exhibition ‘Mistérios de Tinta’ (Mysteries of Paint) by Carolina Rocha, which interprets aspects of the volcanic landscape through plastic experimentation. With this initiative, organised in collaboration with the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Angra do Heroísmo, we aim to complement the artist’s aesthetic approach with scientific information from Eduardo Almeida, a graduate in Biology-Geology, in order to raise awareness of geodiversity and encourage reflection on the importance of land management.
