The Museum of Angra do Heroísmo  marks International Women’s Day, 8 March, with a lunch with artist Carly Swenson, whose exhibition Seven Social Sins is on display until 9 June in the Dacosta Gallery. At this lunch, which will take place between 12 noon and 2 pm, the Museum ofAngra do Heroísmo invites those present to enjoy the peaceful and soothing atmosphere of the cloister of the former convent of São Francisco and, in good company, whether male or female, to recharge their batteries for the many demands of everyday life, savouring a menu specially prepared for the occasion by the Ambientes com Sabores restaurant. At 1:30 p.m., there will be a visit to the exhibitions Sete Pecados Sociais: Seven Social Sins and Aparência e Quotidiano, which offer a complementary approach to the female universe by addressing issues such as seduction, fashion and social inequality through art and documentation.
