30 April
Guided tour of the facilities of the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo, which will also include the space around the Convent’s old fence.
The tour will educate on the primitive hydraulic system of the city of Angra, which took advantage of the flow of the Ribeira dos Moinhos and of which traces still exist in the São Francisco Building and its annexes.
We will explore the facilities of the Educational Service, which is housed in the former Âncora Tobacco Factory, whose machinery was initially powered by water.
This activity will take place from 22 to 30 April, as it is essentially aimed at schoolchildren and the date to be marked (18 April) is covered by the Easter school break.
