Educational Service of the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo, 6th April, 2–5 pm

Activity carried out as part of the European Days of Crafts celebrations.

Rabo-de-gato is one of the simplest knitting techniques and traditionally one of the first taught to children, using a spool and leftover wool. The disappearance of wooden thread holders has compromised this form of children’s entertainment, which this workshop seeks to revive, introducing participants to the enjoyment of handicrafts.

Instructor: Paula Borges de Sousa
Target audience: eight children aged 5 and over
Participation: free, subject to prior registration via email at [email protected]
