Pottery Workshop
Educational Service of the MAH, 28th or 29th November and 17th December, 2–5:30 pm
In this workshop, promoted by the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo in partnership with the Regional Craft Support Centre, participants will create lanterns and other Christmas decorations under the guidance of potter Ricardo Simas. They will experiment with the potter’s wheel and use basic modelling techniques. The pieces produced will, once fired, return to the Educational Service for finishing, in a session shared by both groups of children and young people.
