The exhibition Europe Begins Here! European Heritage Label is promoted by GEPAC / Ministry of Culture and was specially designed by the European Commission to showcase the European Heritage Label (EHL). It consists of 39 panels, each featuring a photograph of a site awarded the EHL.
This label was created by the European Parliament and the Council of Europe to recognise heritage sites that strengthen citizens’ sense of belonging to the European Union, based on shared values and elements of history and cultural heritage, while valuing national and regional diversity and promoting intercultural dialogue.
