Carlos Mendes Dias, Colonel of Artillery in the reserve, has a degree in Military Sciences, a postgraduate degree in Peace and War Studies, a master’s degree in Strategy and a doctorate in Social Sciences, specialising in International Relations. He has held leadership positions in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Mozambique and at the Military Academy, and has taught at several military higher education institutions. With several published works to his name, he is a regular commentator in various media outlets, especially SIC Notícias and CNN Portugal.
