Guided tour of the exhibition ‘Terceira, Land of Bulls’: – Analysis of the watercolour on paper ‘tourada à corda’ (bullfight with ropes) attributed to Alberto Noronha da Silveira, which depicts a bullfight in the mid-20th century and draws parallels with those of today; – Identification of the various costumes featured in the exhibition and indication of who wears them and their role in the bullfighting festival; – Reference to the symbolic and mythical connotations that have always been attributed to the bull; – Indication of the role of the calf in the Espírito Santo festivals; – Creation of finger puppets representing bulls and capes.
