Swing returns to the museum in this fourth dance session led by Arianna Meschia, which aims to introduce the essential foundations for dancing various styles of swing, such as lindy hop and charleston, while exploring the roots of swing dance and music. Arianna Meschia, originally from Italy, lived for 12 years in London where she learned swing, particularly lindy hop, at Scolt Head with Oliver Broadbent and Jo Franchetti. She danced around the city at events organized by various dance schools including Swing Patrol, Jazzbourne, Swing at the Ned, Uptown Swing, among others.
