The Museum of Angra do Heroísmo (MAH) hosts a new dance workshop led by Arianna Meschia, designed to introduce the fundamentals needed to dance various swing styles such as lindy hop and charleston, while also exploring the roots of dances and swing music. Arianna Meschia, originally from Italy, lived for 12 years in London where she learned swing, particularly lindy hop, at Scolt Head with Oliver Broadbent and Jo Franchetti. She danced around the city at events organized by various dance schools including Swing Patrol, Jazzbourne, Swing at the Ned, Uptown Swing, among others.
