How did children dress and style their hair in times past? What did they eat, and what illnesses did they suffer from? Did they work? Did they play? Did they go to school? The exhibition Little World: Childhood Between 1890 and 1950 answers all these questions, highlighting improvements made in nutrition, hygiene, health, comfort, recreational activities, and children’s education during the early decades of the 20th century, which culminated in the 1959 Declaration of the Rights of the Child. The visit to the exhibition is complemented by a set of games designed to reinforce the knowledge gained.
