Chatting About… Macabre Photography | Curiosities and Photographic Practices

The event briefly contextualises the photographic practices of the 19th century, as well as their origin and dissemination, highlighting two major examples of these practices, such as the memento mori phenomenon,the Victorian tradition of post-mortem photography, and the Hidden Mother.
