Printmaking Workshop

In Dacosta’s works, there are famished dogs and ducks swimming in green lakes of memory. Doves hover gracefully, decorated calves carry children, and little rabbits run very, very late. Participants will closely observe some of his paintings and then, with the guidance of Luís Brum—another well-known painter from Terceira celebrated for his depictions of animals—they will create their own “bichiário” using printmaking techniques.
