Opening of the exhibition Aquedutos: Água e Património | Pedro Inácio Photography
Presentation by Pedro Inácio, followed by a visit to the exhibition.

Some of the monuments whose photographs are part of the Aqueducts: Água e Património exhibition date back to Roman times, when they pioneered the construction of numerous aqueducts throughout their ancient empire. Several aqueducts were built in Portugal 1,500 years later due to the knowledge and technique of Roman engineering which, as this communication will explain, made a decisive contribution to improving the water supply and the quality of life of the population.
