10.11.2018 - 10.11.2018

Educational Service of the MAH, 10 November, 14:00–17:00
After looking again and again at depictions of the Good Shepherd, one notices that the Child sleeps protected by tender sheep, beside a fountain where strange birds drink, in an ivory garden where lions and lambs nestle side by side. It is, indeed, Paradise! And what about the cake created by Lila de Magalhães, which can be seen in the Dacosta Gallery? Inhabited by fish, limpets, snails, ladybirds, butterflies, and people, isn’t it another kind of garden? Or perhaps, who knows, an island?
In this workshop, participants will train their observation skills, learn to decode symbolic messages, and, playing with leaves, paper, and paints, create a garden to take home.

Target audience: 10 children aged 5 and over.
Free participation, subject to prior registration.
Registration by phone at 295 240 800 or by email at [email protected]
