5th Moby-Dick Minimarathon

The first month of 2023 brings with it the return of the Luso-American Moby-Dick Marathon to the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo, which will take place on 7 January in the Library of the São Francisco Building, at the same time as the New Bedford Whaling Museum, the Azores Sea Observatory, the University of Lisbon’s School of Social Sciences and Humanities and the National Library of Cape Verde. This is the 27th marathon to take place at the New Bedford Whaling Museum and, since our first collaboration with the museum and Portuguese Consulate in New Bedford in January 2017, the 5th time that the reading has been held at the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo with a Portuguese-adapted version.
