The mural painting “Cachabote” is the result of a challenge posed by the Angra Museum to the artist Luís Brum, as part of the Portuguese-language reading marathon of Moby Dick, which brought together over fifty readers for four hours.

Manuel Martins, a visual artist from Terceira, explores the various possibilities of paper as a medium in his latest painting exhibition, entitled “On the Materiality of Paper”. The exhibition is on display at the Angra Museum, in the city of Angra do Heroísmo, until 12 June.

The awards ceremony for the second edition of the “Saber de Angra” Peddy Paper, which took place last November, was held at the Town Hall of Angra do Heroísmo. It was attended by primary school pupils, the Mayor, and the Director of the Angra Museum – the organising entities behind the event.

The Monte Brasil Forest Recreation Reserve was open at night on 22 August to host the second edition of Drums in the Moonlight. This event, organised by the Angra do Heroísmo Museum, offers a guided walk through the reserve and a moonlit concert.
