Francisco de Lacerda (1869-1934) socialised with top names in national and international culture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries: writers, politicians, musicians, painters, among many others. There are the many photographs, extensive correspondence, a collection of dedications, books and drawings in his collection, all of which are autographed. Many of them include brief texts of homage, sometimes with some literary value, showing personal or professional admiration, gratitude, affection or mere courtesy.
