Ex-libris inauguration

David Fernandes, were conceived and designed by him. The exhibits are functional pieces of miniature art that are glued to books and identify libraries. Because of their symbolic richness and aesthetics, they first became objects of collecting, then of worship, later of study, and today they are the subject of a systematized science, ex-librarianship. The presentation of the exhibition will include a presentation by the collector, entitled The Fascination of Ex-Libris – Considerations around Ex-Libris and Heraldry.
