Cine-Concert – Documentário Terceirense with the Arsénio Martins Ensemble

In a bid to find new ways to tell and publicise its historical collection, the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo will present, in partnership with the CMAH, a cine-concert, a project that combines music, cinema and history. The public will be able to watch a unique and immersive show with live improvised music by the Arsénio Martins Ensemble (Arsénio Martins – piano – and Paulo Cunha – double bass), soundscapes that will accompany the screening of what is considered the first Azorean film, Documentário Terceirense (1927), by António Luís Lourenço da Costa (1883-1941), which is part of the MAH’s Sound and Image Archive.
