Terceira’s Folklore Groups: Memories and institutional paths

The MAH is hosting a meeting dedicated to the phenomenon of folklore groups in the Azores, a motto used to debate the role of these associations in safeguarding traditional and popular culture. The event, promoted by the Fontes da Nossa Ilha Association, is open to the public and will feature the presentation and participation of various folklore groups from Terceira. The program also includes a visit to the MAH’s Ethnography Reserve, Traditional Knowledge and Techniques Gallery, led by senior technician Maria Manuel Ribeiro.
