The Museum of Angra do Heroísmo will continue its educational programme in contemporary art by reflecting on the issues of authenticity and copying, technical reproducibility and forgery.
Issues such as the value of academicism as opposed to amateurism and self-taught behaviour will also be discussed to clarify concepts that are at the root of the audience’s alienation.
