A ride in a carriage… through the history of transport

Starting from the observation of the elegant and original vehicle on display at the Museum Angra do Heroísmo which, despite being a traquitana, has characteristics found in older coaches, 19th century carriages and, above all, berlins. A comparative study is made between the MAH traquitana and the most emblematic pieces in the National Coach Museum, referring to the historical, technical, structural and decorative aspects of each typology.
