The USk Terceira Island Association is organising, from 29 to 31 May, the gathering Macaronesia in Drawing, and initiative that celebrates observational drawing as a form of artistic expression and as a means of recording the region’s natural and urban heritage. The event includes the participation of a group of Urban Sketchers from the island of Santa Maria, fostering artistic and cultural exchange between different islands of the Azorean archipelago. The programme includes a drawing session at the Museum of Angra do Heroísmo (MAH) on 31 May. Open to the community, the gathering aims to encourage the practice of drawing and to promote and enhance the appreciation of heritage.
